I sold my last Woobit today!

So just wanted to let everyone know. I am officially out of Woobits.
And on another topic...
I'm going to be working on a new video with the 3 elves I just made.
I'm working on the script right now, trying to figure out if it's going to be kid friendly or not.
It's harder than you think to keep it clean, yet still make it laughable funny.
Poop humor always works, but will still need to keep it "nice"...not that poop is nice.
So off to work I go...

Christmas came upon me this week...

So my dad said one day, "Hey Theresa, you should make a deer puppet."
I thought about it, figured out how I could make the antlers, and then it suddenly hit me.
Why make just a deer puppet when I can make a Christmas REINdeer puppet.
BOOYAH! Here's what I made.

I am just so diggin' this puppet. I especially like the scarf...I'm actually thinking of making myself a scarf. And then I thought, "Well, if you're going to have a reindeer you just HAVE to have an elf." So I came up with this little guy. I'm almost finished with him. He doesn't have eyes; just shaggy bangs, because he's a bit of a rebel. And I'm not sure if I'm going to stick with the "blonde" hair or give him brown...just not sure. And I still need to make some ears for him. He actually reminds me of a thin, hairy Ziggy.

But I finally, FINALLY found some peach fleece to make "skin"...took me forever to find it. Anyway, I'll be busy making more puppets. Just wanted to show you what I was up to. I'm still trying to think of a way to make a snowman puppet. I know how to make his head, but the body is still a puzzle to me. But I'll be adding my reindeer (Reggie is his name) to my shop tomorrow. Totally cool!

So thanks for tuning in! Tootles...Theresa

Working on this little guy for a customer!

This is a custom puppet I'm working on for a really nice lady in Canada. I'm also working on a princess puppet for her too. I'm still testing the waters with people puppets. They're a bit more time consuming but they do look pretty cute.

Anyway, I'm still working on other puppets. Taking Thanksgiving week off to make some more.

I had a brainstorm driving home Yesterday!

And BAM! This is the product. Okay, so it's not like an original idea. It actually reminds me of those little pom pom people (Weepuls - I think they're called) that were super popular during the 80's. Aaaahhhh yes, the 80's.
So anyway, I'll just say this is my version of a Weepul. Anyway, I had the furry fabric that I bought over a year ago and never did anything with it, and now I know why! Unknowingly I was saving it for this little cutie!! So I'll probably make some more because she was actually really simple to make and I'll add them to my shop to see if they sell. But until then I really need to find a name for them...but this little gem looks like a Polly. She's sooo cute! Looks like I found a good Christmas gift to give the kiddos in my family.
Oh, and I've got more puppets coming into the shop hopefully this weekend! More puppies and an alien for sure!
Until then,
Tootles.

Just a picture of some puppies coming into my shop!

The two on the left have collars (1 red and 1 blue) you just can't see them and the other two are in sweaters. This is my basic Wyatt puppet. All I need to do is add their hair, sew their eyes and take pictures and get them into my shop! Hopefully I can do that this weekend!

My New Ipup Concept_a picture is worth 1000 words

This photo should give you a really good idea of my Ipup concept. These little guys are so cute! "Cute" seems to be the word of the day today.

Close up of Wings...didn't show up in last post...

Here's the close up of the wings!
Sorry!

T-

I need to come up with a cute name for this cute BEE!

I need some help? I can't use Benny or Benjamin. I was thinking of Boris, but...Nah!

But isn't he so cute?!

Here's a close up of his wings. I had fun making these. I used stiff felt inside and covered them with fleece and then used the sewing machine to make the design. I love this little guy!

But what to name him...hmmm.....

I named this I-pup: Lucky!

I think he looks kind of lucky...don't you?
He's so CUTE! :o)

Here is my latest I-pup!

I can't remember if I mentioned this before and I'll be honest, I'm too busy (or is it just laziness?) to go back and look at previous posts to see if I did, but I came up with (or more like borrowed) a new concept called I-pups. They're basically puppy puppets in the colors of the I-pod Nano's. Hopefully Apple won't sue me...it's not like I created a brand new mp3 player or anything...it's just a play on words, right? Right???

Well...I'm willing to risk it.

My first I-pup was Griff. He was the green one.

And I just finished my yellow pup. I've named him Radar. Here's his picture. I angled his head wrong. He too has a black collar (just in case you were wondering).

But I have several more colors of these awesome pups in production now (pink, dark blue, light blue, purple...you know all the colors of an I-pod Nano) and they are so flippin' cute! I have at least 30 puppets total in production right now and I know I keep saying that. I'll take a picture of "the group" this weekend and post it. I am totally stoked for Christmas. I am really hoping people are into puppets this year. As I have heard before:
"DON'T GO OUTSIDE WITH A NAKED HAND! PUT A PUPPET ON!!"

Until next time.

Still Here! Still Making Puppets!!

Hey all...I'm still here. I'm just getting myself ready for Christmas. I have like 30 puppets in production. Hope I can sell them all. I'm making a bunch of dog puppets. People really seem to like the doggies. They are really cute.

So I just felt the need to post, because not posting is kind of rude...well, not "rude" really but I figured people like to know what's going on and I at least have to let everyone know I haven't fallen off the face of the planet.

And I really want to make another video but just haven't had the time or the equipment. My brother-in-law gave me his first generation Flip Camera (totally awesome and generous of him). I can't seem to get it to work on my computer though...Phooey! And Quick Time has totally messed up my regular camera so I can't transfer my videos to Movie Maker...double Phooey!

So hopefully in the next few months there will be some movement in my shop.
Thanks and will post again soon with some puppet pictures!!

I just love FREE!

Hey Everyone!

From now until I run out of them, I am offering a free Woobit with every puppet purchase. If you're asking yourself, "What in the world is a woobit?" well let me tell you my friend! It's a...wait...okay, so I really don't know what they are but they are MEGA cute! And they have a pocket in the back so you can stick a gift card in it or like me, I'll stick my business card in it!

AWESOME!!!

But here's a picture of what they look like anyway because I really didn't do all that great of a job explaining them.

I am just a few stiches away from finishing my two dragons

I don't have pictures to send (because I'm at work) but hopefully by the end of the weekend I will have Decker and DeeDee up in my shop.
I am soooo excited!
Can't wait!!
There is a picture of DeeDee in one of my previous posts (without wings) if you wanna check it out.

New Puppets and new prototypes

Hello!
I have been busy today. Here is the pink dragon I've been working on. She's almost done. I need to finish attaching the scales on her back and attach the wings.

Now here's something I've had brewing in the back of the ol' noggin for awhile. A bookworm. It turned out pretty cute I think. This one is my prototype. I'm trying to find a good way to keep the glasses on his head without them falling off when you're manipulating the puppet. Plus I'm using a different puppet pattern and there's a foam skull involved. So I'll keep tweaking him until I get him exactly right before I add him to my shop.

New Dog Puppet on the Way!

Hey, here's a picture of my most recent dog puppet! How totally cute is he?? I actually paid more than I should have on the fabric I used for the sweater, but when I saw it I just had to have it.

It kinda reminds me of Freddy's sweater from the Nightmare on Elm Street movies, but technically Freddy's sweater was red and green, so really it's not the same. Anyway, I'll have to finish fully attaching his ears, eyes and tail and then add some hair and he'll be done.

I'm still working on the rest of the crew!! Thank goodness Christmas is still "sort of " far away. Don't blink! It'll be here before we know it!

Until next time!

Happy 4th of July!

First of all, let me send a shout out to all the men and women overseas who are currently fighting for our freedom! May God bless you all, protecting you from any harm and that all of you come home safely to be with your family and friends.

I am truly thankful that there are men and woman out there who are brave enough to fight for me and my freedom! Again, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

So with this wonderful freedom I have been so graciously given, I have been up to my eyeballs in puppet production. I have got a bunch coming down the pike. Here's a shot of what I've got...just trying to gear up for Christmas ahead of schedule. I have a bunch of dogs (dark brown, light brown and my latest Ipups). I'll have some pups in sweaters and others naked with collars.

So take care all!

Never Fear! UnderDog is Here!!

I am on the brink of finishing my UnderDog puppet. The only think missing is his little tuft of hair at the top! Here's a picture of what he looks like. I am soooo stoked! I can't wait to list him in my shop!

I'm also almost finished with my super chicken...or Captain Cluck...or whatever I'll name him. He's pretty cute too...I'll get him listed shortly. Anyway, just wanted to keep my peeps up to date on what I'm working on!

Thanks!!

Look what I made while watching LOST!

Well, I actually came across this doggy chew toy at Walmart. So I took a picture of it because it was so flippin cute, and thought to myself that it would make a pretty cute puppet.

And here's what I came up with...and sorry the picture is fuzzy. Close up it kind of looks like a rabbit, but I'm going to make the ears stay down so it looks more doggish. But isn't it cute??!!

So once I finish him up without screwing anything up I'll list him in my shop and will most likely make different colored puppies. Anyway, just wanted to share.

More Puppets Are on the Way! I PROMISE!!

It's like I don't have enough time in the day! GRRR!!

Well, here's my duck I just finished...just haven't gotten him listed yet. Read below on what else is going to be showing up soon...
I finished a girl snake. She's super cute (and I totally forgot to take a picture of her).
I have 4 Foozy Bugs ready to go (they just need feathers).

So here's a list of what I have cut and are awaiting assembly:
A one eyed one horned flying purple people eater (actually I have 2 of these cut out)
2 Dragons (1 boy and 1 girl)
A Ladybug
A Bee
2 Bears
A turtle
A Tan Girly Bunny
A Green Dog (this is an experiment - I'm hoping he turns out cute as I think he's going to)
2 More Aliens
OHMIGOSH! And Underdog! I can't wait to finish him. I almost want to sell him for a million dollars because I think I'm in love with this little guy. I can't wait to see how he turns out.

So what other stuff do I have up and coming?
More Puppies (everyone just loves the puppies) and they are so darn cute. Just sold 2 yesterday! Boo-Yah!
I have a Boy Snake in the works...I guess I should have listed him up at the top because I have him cut out.
And more people puppets (even though they're more time consuming to make) but I just found some peach fleece that looks more like a flesh color. So I will definitely be experimenting with that!
I guess that's it for now.

I am working on new puppets my friends. Puppies, Dragons, Bugs and more! I've got a bunch coming down the line. I re-organized my workshop and I'm beginning production. I can't wait to start listing them. So never fear, I have not vanished...just took a much needed vacation for awhile.

Stay tuned!
